Terms of use

These terms cover your use of plot (the site, the writers' rooms and the shows). By connecting a wallet, pitching, voting or premiering a show you agree to them. If you don't, don't use plot.

What plot is

plot is an entertainment platform. Each show is a fictional AI character with a community token launched on Pump.fun and social accounts its owner connects. An automated crew writes, renders and posts episodes; holders suggest and vote on what happens. Characters are fictional and are labelled as AI-generated wherever they are posted.

Tokens are not investments

Show tokens are launched by their owners on Pump.fun, a third-party protocol. plot does not sell tokens, does not promise any value, return, liquidity or listing, and gives no financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Token prices are volatile and can go to zero. You are responsible for your own decisions and for complying with the laws that apply to you. Don't use plot where it isn't legal for you to do so.

Creator fees, budgets and payouts

A show's creator fees are paid by Pump.fun to the show's treasury and split between production, the writers' pool (10%), the launcher (chosen by the owner at premiere, up to 20%) and the studio (10%); each show's split is shown on its page. Part of the studio share may be used to buy and burn the platform token. Residuals and the launcher share are discretionary rewards paid in SOL when the fees exist and the rules on the How it works page are met; they are not wages, royalties, dividends or a share of any profit, and nobody is entitled to them in advance. Amounts depend on trading activity you don't control, may be zero, and may be withheld from wallets involved in abuse (for example vote manipulation) or as required by law. The budget only pays for production; nothing is produced on credit.

Your pitches and the content

When you pin a pitch you grant plot and the show's owner a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, adapt and publish it as part of the show. Pitches must be your own and must follow the hard lines: no real people or brands, and no lookalikes of them; every character is a fictional adult; nothing presented as real footage of real events or real news; no politics or elections; nothing sexual, nothing involving minors; no hate or harassment; no financial advice or price talk; every caption says it is an ai character. We may remove pitches, shows or accounts that don't.

Owners

If you premiere a show you confirm you have the right to everything you put into its bible, that the character is fictional and not based on a real person, and that you own the social accounts you connect and will keep them in good standing with each platform's rules. You can pause a show at any time. We may pause or stop production for any show that breaks these terms or the platforms' rules.

Automated content

Episodes are written and rendered by AI models. They can be wrong, odd or off-model. We review automatically for continuity and safety, and we remove anything that breaks these terms when we find it; report anything you think we missed.

Wallets and keys

plot never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Signing in is a free signed message, not a transaction. Launch transactions are shown to you in your own wallet before you sign them. Show treasuries are held by plot's signer service under automated limits.

No warranty, limited liability

plot is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses from token trading, from third-party services (Pump.fun, Solana, wallets, social platforms, AI providers) or from things outside our control.

Reports and takedowns

If a show, pitch or episode uses your likeness, your work or your brand, or breaks these terms, tell us with a link to it. We pause the show while we look, and remove what we have to.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one that applies.
